Simplistic and functional, the IM45EC / IM60EC comes with everything you need. From the Stepless Thermostat Control Knob, so you can dial in the temperature you really want, every time, all the time.
The unit is turned on via a Reed Switch. Stiebel Eltron water heaters only need a minimum of 1.2 Liters per Minute (LPM) to activate, we really designed our heaters to be Low Pressure Compatible!
Automatic overheat protection stops the unit when it gets too hot, protecting you and your love ones from super-hot water, add to that the Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) that shuts off the unit in the unlikely instance that there is any electric leak in the system.
It even comes with a flame-retardant PC Board for its electronics to add that extra layer of protection from combustion. Rated at IP25 Splash proof protection, you don’t have to worry about the unit getting wet.
To top it off, the IM series comes with Stiebel Eltron’s iron-clad 5-year warranty on the heating element and 1-year warranty on parts and service.
